Bioidentical Hormone Replacement
Our BioTE in Griffin and Newnan offers a method of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) using pellet therapy. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is a way to replace hormones men and women lose over the course of their lives. We use bioidentical hormone therapy to balance hormones in a way that helps patients reclaim their health.
Why BioTe in Griffin?
Because it’s easy!
As a patient you will receive 2-4 pellet insertions per year. This way you don’t have to think about it and the hormone is available when your body needs it. It’s a one and done process and there’s no need to remember to take pills and apply creams daily.
Feel better no matter your age!
How does it work
Each hormone replacement therapy patient’s symptoms are unique, so is each patient’s path to hormone optimization. Most patients report some symptoms resolution in as little as four weeks, but full optimization may take up to six months. Your hormone therapy will be customized to fit your specific needs. It takes more than a few weeks for your hormones to get out of balance so you can appreciate the fact that it may take a little time to get your hormones back to optimal level.
How to get started?
Schedule a visit for BioTE lab work at our office. These labs take about a week to result. At that time we will put your lab results into the BioTE database along with your medical history. The database will give the Provider your customized dose for bioidentical hormone replacement. We will then schedule your appointment for pellet insertion.
What labs do we check?
Complete blood count, metabolic panel, thyroid panel, b12, vitamin D and lipid panel.
