RF Microneedling in Newnan, Griffin, and Forsyth, GA

Collagen-Stimulating Treatment

When Good Skincare Is Not Enough

You have a solid routine. You wear sunscreen. And your skin still looks tired, the texture is uneven, acne scars from years ago are still there, and things are starting to soften along the jawline.

That is because the changes you are seeing are not happening on the surface. They are happening in the deeper layers, where collagen and elastin live, and no cream reaches that far.

What Is RF Microneedling?

RF microneedling combines two treatments that work well separately and much better together.

Traditional microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, which triggers your body’s repair response and builds new collagen. It works, but it stays near the surface.

RF microneedling sends radiofrequency energy through those same needles, delivering controlled heat into the deeper layers where laxity actually forms. You get the surface renewal of microneedling plus real tightening underneath, in one treatment.

Why we offer three technologies

No single device is best for every skin type or every concern. We use Morpheus8, Secret PRO, and VirtueRF, which means your provider chooses the platform that matches your skin instead of fitting you to whichever machine happens to be in the room.

Our RF Microneedling Technologies

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is the device patients ask for by name. It pairs microneedling with radiofrequency energy that reaches into the deeper layers of the face to tighten and remodel from underneath. On the face, that means firmer skin along the jawline and cheeks, refined texture, and noticeably softer acne scarring, all without surgery.

Best for: facial tightening, jawline definition, acne scarring, texture

Secret PRO

Secret PRO is a multi-technology platform that combines fractional RF microneedling with fractional laser resurfacing. The RF component drives collagen deep in the dermis to firm and smooth, while the resurfacing side works on surface tone, texture, and sun damage. It is the right choice when you want to address more than one thing in a coordinated plan.

Best for: layered concerns, sun damage, tone and texture alongside firmness

VirtueRF

VirtueRF is built around comfort and precision. Its robotic-guided needle delivery places energy smoothly and consistently, which most patients find easier to tolerate than older devices, and that consistency shows in how even the result looks. It works well on fine lines, laxity, pore size, and overall skin quality across the face and neck.

Best for: comfort-sensitive patients, fine lines, pore size, even overall improvement

Which RF Microneedling Treatment Is Right for Me?

I want to tighten and contour my face

Morpheus8 reaches the deeper layers of the face to firm the jawline, smooth the cheeks, and remodel tissue from below the surface.

I want to address more than one thing at once

Secret PRO combines RF microneedling with fractional resurfacing, so tone, texture, and laxity can all be handled in one coordinated plan.

I am worried about discomfort

VirtueRF delivers RF energy with robotic precision and was designed around patient comfort, which makes serious collagen remodeling much more tolerable.

I want to soften acne scars and refine texture

Morpheus8 is particularly effective on depressed acne scarring and uneven texture, smoothing the surface while firming underneath.

I want to treat sun damage and discoloration, not just firmness

The resurfacing capability in Secret PRO targets pigment and surface damage alongside its tightening effect.

I am not sure which one I need

Start with a consultation. Your provider will look at your skin in person and recommend the device and depth that fit your goals. That is genuinely the most useful thing you can do first.

RF Microneedling vs. QuantumRF

Both use radiofrequency to build collagen, but they are different treatments and they solve different problems.

RF microneedling works from the surface down. Fine needles enter the skin and deliver energy a few millimeters deep. It is the better choice for skin quality concerns: texture, scarring, pore size, fine lines, and mild to moderate tightening. Little downtime, usually a series of three or four treatments.

QuantumRF works from underneath. Your provider places a thin cannula beneath the skin and delivers energy much deeper. It is the better choice when loose skin is the primary concern and you want more tightening than a surface treatment can produce. It is minimally invasive with a few days of recovery, and it is usually a single treatment.

If you are not sure which category your concern falls into, that is exactly what the consultation sorts out.

What to Expect During Your RF Microneedling Treatment

Consultation Your provider examines your skin, talks through what is bothering you, and recommends which device and what depth make sense.

Comfort Your skin is numbed with a topical cream before treatment. Most patients describe the sensation as warm pressure rather than pain. VirtueRF in particular was designed with comfort in mind.

Your treatment The device passes over the treatment area, delivering microneedling and radiofrequency energy at the depth your provider selected. Most facial treatments take under an hour including numbing time.

Recovery Expect redness and mild swelling similar to a moderate sunburn for one to three days. Most patients are back to normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. Your provider will give you aftercare instructions specific to the device and depth used.

Results Skin looks better within a couple of weeks, and it keeps improving for several months as new collagen forms.

Am I a Candidate for RF Microneedling?

RF microneedling is one of the more broadly suitable treatments we offer, and it is safe for most skin types, including deeper skin tones where some laser treatments carry more risk.

You may be a good candidate if you:

  • Have fine lines, uneven texture, or enlarged pores
  • Want to soften acne scars or other scarring
  • Have mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Want firmer, smoother skin without surgery
  • Are looking to improve overall skin quality rather than fix one line
  • Can work around one to three days of redness

RF microneedling may not be the right first step if your primary concern is significant loose skin, where QuantumRF is likely a better fit, or if you have an active skin infection or breakout in the treatment area. Certain medications and conditions also affect timing. Your provider will go through your history before recommending anything.

How Much Does RF Microneedling Cost?

Cost depends on which device is used, the size of the treatment area, and how many sessions your plan includes. Most patients are treated in a series, and package pricing is usually available. Your provider will review exact pricing at your consultation once there is a plan in place.

Payment and financing

We accept cash, credit cards, PatientFi, Cherry, and CareCredit.

PatientFi is our preferred financing partner and the application takes just a few minutes.

HSA and FSA funds may be applied to medically eligible services depending on your individual plan. Coverage varies, so please confirm eligibility with your plan administrator before your appointment.

What Our Patients Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions About RF Microneedling

What is the difference between RF microneedling and regular microneedling?

Traditional microneedling creates micro-channels near the surface to prompt collagen production. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency heat through those same needles, reaching the deeper layers to tighten tissue and remodel collagen where laxity actually forms. Same starting point, considerably more effect.

Which RF microneedling device is best?

There is no single best device, because the right one depends on your skin. Morpheus8 is strongest for deeper facial tightening and acne scarring. Secret PRO pairs RF with resurfacing for tone and sun damage. VirtueRF is known for comfort and very even results. Your provider will recommend the right fit at your consultation.

Does RF microneedling hurt?

Your skin is numbed with a topical cream first, and most patients describe it as warm pressure rather than pain. VirtueRF was specifically designed around comfort. Your provider checks in with you throughout.

How much downtime is there?

Expect redness and mild swelling like a moderate sunburn for one to three days. Most patients return to normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. Makeup is usually fine after 24 hours, though your provider will confirm based on your treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients get the best results from three or four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, though some see improvement after just one. Significant scarring or stretch marks may need more.

When will I see results?

You will notice improvement within a couple of weeks. The bigger changes develop over three to six months as new collagen forms, so the result keeps getting better for a while.

Is RF microneedling safe for darker skin tones?

Yes. Because RF microneedling works with heat delivered through needles rather than light energy absorbed by pigment, it carries less risk of pigmentation changes than many laser treatments. That makes it one of the better options across a wide range of skin tones.

Can RF microneedling be combined with other treatments?

Yes. It pairs well with injectables, PRP, and medical grade skincare. Your provider can build a combination plan if that gets you to your goal faster.

How much does RF microneedling cost?

Cost varies by device, treatment area, and number of sessions. Package pricing is often available. Your provider will review exact pricing at your consultation.
