Our Neck Rejuvenation Treatments

Hyperdilute Radiesse

Radiesse diluted with sterile saline and lidocaine, then spread thinly across the neck. At that dilution it stops acting as a filler and becomes a collagen stimulator, thickening and firming the skin across the whole region rather than filling any one spot.

This is the workhorse of neck rejuvenation and the most common starting point.

Best for: crepey skin, horizontal lines, overall firmness and skin quality

Typical plan: two to three treatments for moderate concerns, one to two for mild, spaced several weeks apart

Results: develop gradually from around six weeks, continuing three to six months, and generally lasting 12 to 18 months

Morpheus8

Radiofrequency microneedling that reaches beneath the surface to tighten tissue and remodel collagen. On the neck it addresses both skin quality and mild to moderate laxity in the same treatment.

Best for: crepey texture combined with looseness, jawline definition

Typical plan: three to four sessions, four to six weeks apart

Results: build over three to six months as new collagen forms

Neurotoxin, the Nefertiti Lift

Neurotoxin placed along the platysma, the broad sheet of muscle running up the neck, releases the downward pull that muscle exerts on the jawline. It softens vertical bands and produces a modest lift where the face meets the neck.

This is the treatment for vertical bands specifically. Nothing else addresses them, because they are muscle rather than skin.

Best for: vertical neck bands, jawline definition, softening the pull on the lower face

Typical plan: repeated every three to four months

Results: develop over about two weeks

PDO Threads

Dissolvable threads placed beneath the skin to physically lift lax tissue and reposition it. As the threads dissolve, your body builds collagen around where they sat.

Best for: genuine laxity where tissue has descended rather than simply thinned

Typical plan: usually a single session

Results: immediate lift, improving further over two to three months, generally holding 12 to 18 months

Sculptra

A collagen biostimulator that rebuilds structural support gradually across the treated area. On the neck it addresses thin, deflated skin by restoring the foundation underneath rather than treating the surface.

Best for: thin, crepey skin where collagen loss is the primary problem

Typical plan: two to three sessions, four to eight weeks apart

Results: develop over three to six months and last two years or longer

QuantumRF

Our strongest non-surgical option when the concern is significant loose skin rather than skin quality. A thin cannula placed beneath the skin delivers radiofrequency energy at depth, contracting tissue immediately and building collagen over the months that follow.

Best for: moderate to significant neck laxity, fullness under the chin

Typical plan: usually one treatment

Results: some tightening immediately, with continued improvement over three to six months

A typical plan combines treatments that solve different problems. Hyperdilute Radiesse improves the skin while neurotoxin handles the bands. Morpheus8 tightens while threads lift. QuantumRF addresses the laxity while Sculptra rebuilds the thinned skin above it.

Your provider maps this in order, so each treatment supports the next rather than competing with it. Some things need to happen before others, and sequencing is most of the skill.

One thing worth knowing. Treating the neck without treating the jawline often looks incomplete, because the two read as one visual line. Many neck plans include jawline work for that reason, and your provider will explain why if it applies to you.

What to Expect

Consultation and mapping

Your provider examines your neck and jawline, identifies whether you are dealing with skin quality, muscle, laxity, or a combination, and builds a treatment sequence around it.

Comfort

Depends on the treatment. Topical numbing for Morpheus8 and hyperdilute Radiesse, local anesthetic for QuantumRF and threads, and nothing needed for neurotoxin.

Recovery

Also varies. Neurotoxin has none. Hyperdilute Radiesse involves mild swelling for a day or two. Morpheus8 means a few days of redness. Threads and QuantumRF involve several days of swelling and tenderness. Your provider will tell you what to plan for before you book, so nothing lands on top of an event you care about.

Results

Neck treatments are collagen treatments, so the meaningful change is gradual. Expect the real difference between three and six months, with the exception of neurotoxin and threads, which show up faster.

If your laxity is advanced, with significant hanging skin, a surgical neck lift will give you a better result than any combination of the treatments here. Non-surgical options work extremely well for mild to moderate concerns and produce disappointing results when stretched past what they can do.

Your provider will tell you that directly rather than selling you a plan that will not get you there.

Certain treatments also have specific restrictions, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, implanted electronic devices, and some autoimmune conditions. Your provider will review your history before recommending anything.

Which treatment do I need?

It depends on what is actually bothering you, and patients are often wrong about this in a predictable way. Crepey skin needs collagen stimulation, meaning hyperdilute Radiesse or Sculptra. Vertical bands are muscle and need neurotoxin. Loose skin needs tightening, meaning Morpheus8, QuantumRF, or threads. Most people have two or three of these at once.

Can I fix my neck without surgery?

For mild to moderate concerns, yes, and the results can be substantial. For advanced laxity with significant hanging skin, no. A surgical neck lift is the honest answer in that case, and your provider will tell you.

What are the vertical cords on my neck?

Those are platysmal bands, the edges of a broad sheet of muscle. They become more visible as the muscle tightens and the skin over it thins. Neurotoxin relaxes that muscle and softens their appearance, and no skin treatment will resolve them, because the problem is underneath.

Why does my neck look older than my face?

Because the skin there is thinner, has fewer oil glands, and gets skipped by most skincare routines. It also gets significant sun exposure and, increasingly, constant flexion from looking down at phones. It is genuinely a harder area, not a failure on your part.

How long until I see a difference?

Neurotoxin shows up in about two weeks and threads produce immediate lift. Everything else is a collagen treatment, so expect gradual change from around six weeks with the meaningful difference between three and six months.

Will I need more than one treatment?

Most likely yes, and usually more than one type. Neck plans typically combine two or three treatments addressing different aspects. Your provider will map the full sequence at your consultation so you know what you are committing to.

How long do results last?
